Terms of Service

1. Services Provided
Pyract provides a business operations platform, including point-of-sale (POS) software, AI-driven voice agents, and financial tracking tools.
2. Merchant Compliance & Phone Recording
Merchants are solely responsible for complying with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and all applicable Canadian laws. Merchants utilizing our AI voice agents or call recording features must ensure that callers are provided with a clear, automated notification at the beginning of the call stating that the conversation is being recorded for quality, training, and processing purposes.
3. Payment Processing & PCI Compliance
Pyract integrates with third-party payment processors to facilitate transactions. Pyract does not directly capture, store, or transmit credit card data. Merchants and their chosen third-party payment processors are solely responsible for maintaining PCI-DSS compliance.
4. AI Accuracy
Our AI agents process voice and text interactions. Pyract does not guarantee that AI transcriptions or automated customer interactions will be entirely error-free. Merchants are responsible for monitoring AI outputs.
5. Third-Party Services and Financial Accounts (Plaid)
We use third-party providers such as Plaid for financial data connections. Plaid is a third-party service provider, and we are not responsible for its services or data handling practices. You may disconnect linked financial accounts at any time.
6. Disclaimers and Business Interruption
Services are provided "as is" without warranties. We do not guarantee that the services will be uninterrupted or error-free. Pyract is not liable for lost profits, lost sales, or business interruption (including POS or AI downtime) resulting from the use of our software.
7. Limitation of Liability
We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pyract's total aggregate liability shall not exceed the total amounts paid by you to Pyract for the specific service giving rise to the claim in the twelve (12) months preceding the event.
8. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access at our discretion for security, legal, or misuse reasons to protect system integrity.
9. Governing Law
These terms shall be governed by the laws of British Columbia, Canada.
